This Video Just Changed My Life

What are we doing? No seriously. What are we doing?! We are living life through our smart phones. We are out doing things to take pictures to post to social media. We are considering ourselves to be connected to people when really we couldn't be more alone.

Maybe we are hanging out with people, but are we being present with them? Or are you looking at your phone?

No judging, I'm guilty. But I'm going to take the first step here. I'm over it! I'm over looking at social media all the time, I'm over being consumed by my smart phone. I'm over missing out on potential opportunities because the screen of my smart phone has my full attention.

I'm going to go out and live life. From now on, this blog has an additional purpose. Not only to lose the baby weight, but also to get out, adventure, and live life. Let's live this life to the fullest.

I don't have many fears but one of my top fears is to be sitting in my rocker at a nursing home, old and wrinkly, and to have regrets about not living my life to my fullest. Think about it, when you are sitting there are you going to think to yourself, "I'm glad I spent so much time looking down at my smart phone" or are you going to be savoring the memories of you with your children, your spouse, good friends and family, and your life adventures?

I don't know about you, but that fear is enough to make me delete all social media.
That fear is enough to make me delete any time-consuming games on my cell phone.
That fear is enough to make me savor every moment with my baby before he grows up before my eyes.
That fear is enough to make me get out and live.

Our time is not infinite, we only have so much. And as for me, I refuse to let that pass me by.
