I've had this idea in my head for a while and I finally gave it a try.... and the verdict is in. It's a win! I mean... in my opinion everything tastes better grilled so naturally it's delish.
Ingredients
2 lb bag of whole carrots
2 tablespoons Balsamic vinegar
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tap salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
1. Wash carrots (no need to peel) and cut off the ugly end. If carrots are thicker than one inch you may need to slice in half so they can cook all the way through.
2. Spread carrots on cooking sheet
3. Drizzle olive oil and Balsamic vinegar evenly over carrots
4. Sprinkle salt and garlic powder evenly over carrots
5. Roll carrots to coat all sides
6. Put on preheated grill that is around 350 degrees
7. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes. Flip halfway through to avoid charring.
8. Enjoy! I serve them whole and we cut them on our own plates.
Vegetables don't have to be boring, with the right seasonings you and your family will look forward to them!
