Bargain Fashion: Long Sleeve Floral Dress and Booties

I've seen this dress floating around instagram… once I found out it was from Free People and was over a hundred dollars I was like, "Nope, not happening sister."

BUT then I looked on sheinside and found a knock off version for like 100 dollars cheaper (insert angels singing).

Disclaimer: So about the dress, I've said this before and I'll say it again. Sheinside sizes run SMALL. I always get the biggest size, always! The largest size of this dress fits me perfectly. ALSO, the fabric is sheer, so I wear a white skirt slip underneath and a white shirt on top. One more thing, you may find that you want to sew the buttons on the back a little better. I pulled a Chris Farley and popped one off when I bent over but it's not a big deal to me to sew it back on.

That's the thing about bargain shopping sometimes, you have to be willing to make adjustments if you need to. It's not a big deal to me to have to sew buttons better so I'll totally take the bargain option and keep the extra 100 in my bank account.

I love this dress though. I went to the carwash today and this sweet old man came up to me saying, "Wow, that dress is beautiful! Is it cotton? Linen?" It's more of a linen in case you are wondering ;)

So they market the dress as a maxi, on me it's a perfect midi. That's kind of the beauty of dress styles right now, you have the maxi, the midaxi, and the midi. No matter what you are pretty much in the clear. I'm 5'11" and you can see where it hits on my legs. If you are 5 feet is would probably be more of a maxi on you.

Search around for discount codes or freeshipping, you can usually find it for sheinside. I always said to use the code "inst33" but just found out it comes of the full price not discounted price. It's worth a try anyway.
